On February 4, 2007, Tom began serving as interim Music Pastor at First Baptist Church, Lancaster, SC. On August 19th, Tom was voted as permanent part-time Music Pastor.

He directs the adult choir, the vocal ensemble, the senior adult choir and congregational music and coordinates the children's, youth, and handbell choirs. Tom spends Wednesdays and Sundays at the church.
